The date, 15th of August from 1947 in India has become a very important day in the Indian history. India got independence on 15thof august in 1947, so people of India celebrate this special day every year as the Independence Day on 15th of august. In the event celebration organized in the National Capital, New Delhi the Prime Minister of India unfurled the National Flag in the early morning at the Red fort where millions of people participate in the Independence Day ceremony.
During the celebration at Red Fort, New Delhi many tasks including March past are performed by the Indian army and cultural events by the school students are performed. Speech On The Sport Day

Good morning to the respected teachers and my dear colleagues. We are here today to celebrate a most honorable occasion of sports day. Myself Somanshu Mahajan studying in class Fifth A. I would like to speech on the occasion of Sports Day.
We celebrated August 29 as a National Sports Day in India. This day marks the birthday of the hockey player Dhyan Chand, who won gold medals for India in year 1928, 1932 and 1936.
This day is celebrated by organizing friendly matches between different Indian hockey teams at the Dhyan Chand National stadium in New Delhi which was constructed in the respect and honor of Dhyan Chand. Every school celebrates its Sports Day and, to this all, the children very longingly look forward to. My school the St. Therese Convent School also has its Sports Day every year sometime in the month of November.
There is a great importance of games and sports for the students. The sports teach discipline to the students. These sports are very essential for the students. They also develop the spirit of the sportsmanship and suddenly derive a lot of pleasure by playing games. It also inculcates the quality of team spirit in them.
I love to play and see my friends and others participating with their hearts and souls with a complete involvement in the games. Their victory boosts up even my morale.
Thank You

Speech On The Teacher's Day

Good morning to the respected teachers and my dear colleagues. We are here today to celebrate a most honorable occasion of Teachers day. Myself Somanshu Mahajan studying in class Fifth A. I would like to speech on the occasion of Teachers Day.
Teacher’s day is celebrated all across the India every year on 5th of September to pay tribute to the teachers. There is a great reason behind the celebration of teacher’s day on 5th of September, is the birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.
He was a great person and highly devoted towards the education. He was well known as the scholar, diplomat, Vice President of India, President of India and most importantly the Teacher.
After his selection as the Indian President in 1962, he told that, instead of celebrating 5th of September as my personal birthday, it would be better if it is dedicated to the whole teaching profession. And 5th of September should be celebrated as teacher’s day all over India to pay honor to the teaching profession.
We celebrate this event in their own way by presenting their favorite teachers a colorful flower, teachers day cards, gifts, e-greeting cards, message etc to respect and admire them.
Teacher’s day celebration is a wonderful opportunity for all the students to do something for their teachers in their respect and honor.
I always would be grateful to my all teachers in my life.
Thank You
